Made my 8010s sound twice as good

I am using a pair of 8010s as a permanent setup for near field monitoring solution on a tight desk space. Right after setting up the 8010s I looked for a solution that would raise them ever so slightly while allow for more tilt.

This stand does exactly that, with a sturdy, solid high quality finish. The change in clarity and soundstage was impressive without adding more than a few centimeters to the 8010s footprint.

Cable handling takes away one star. Take care to tuck your cables in neatly as instructed before assembly. If you intend to use your 8010s on the move, it might be worth comparing these to other options since access to connecting and disconnecting speaker power and signal cable is limited.

Build quality is great and percieved sound quality was doubled so overall I am happy with my purchase. I do however find the asking price quite steep.

Thomann delivery and service was flawless as always. Sadly the stands did not come wrapped in silk, delivered personally on a silver plate by a finnish butler named "Pekka" from Genelec. Therefore I am also deducting a star from the total. There's nothing wrong with the product, but Pekka needs to be included in all premium priced Genelec accessories for a five star rating.

After buying a pair of 6010B for desktop use, I started using them on a large table, with the included isopods, switching desptop dip on. Sounded good, but with coloration. After getting these L-shape stands, I cannot imagine using the speakers without them. Clearer, more defined sound and deeper bass. As you would expect from Genelec, the material and the finish of the stands are very good, easy to adjust the angle. Cable arrangement is a bit tighter, but in case you don't plug/unplug too often, this is not a real issue. Strongly recommended upgrade to the 6010 speakers. Sound improvement worth the investment.

These are absolutely amazing! They completely hit all the marks. They are the right hight for a desktop. The tilt up or down for fine tuning their directionality. The rubber feet are of high quality and stick the my desktop perfectly with zero slip. They are built very well, very solid and transfer practically zero energy into my desktop. If you have a small pair of Genelec's, I highly recommend these. Very much worth it!
