Sounds good, but lasted just 3 months
Kavli 16.06.2019
I purchased this amp as a replacement for my 19 year old Dynacord S1200, for my home theatre system. I wanted to try a D-class amp, and have only had good experiences with Behringer in the past, so I went for the NX3000D. The sound quality is excellent. On par, or better than the S1200 before the caps started to dry out.

I left it switched off for a week during a small vacation, and when trying to turn it back on, it was completely dead. Opened it up (risking the warranty) to see if the internal fuse had blown. But it was intact. So the internal power supply had apparently waved goodbye. There was no apparent catastrophic failure. No blown caps or discoloured components.

Being an electronics engineer, I know that these things happen, but at the same time I believe the construction leaves very little margin. At the same time it comes at a rock bottom price, and you can't have it both ways.

I've returned it and I'm expecting the repaired unit back, or an equivalent replacement. I'm not giving up on it. At least not yet. :-)

Great amp with a lot of power and features
xztraz 24.04.2020
I'm using the amp for a home cinema.
a combination of subs and bass shakers. 4x15" on one channel(subs) and 2x12"(bass shakers) on other channel. i've got it to deliver quite linear down to 7hz which shakes the whole house!

using an measurement microphone(not included) at listening position and REW to fine tune the peq to avoid some room nodes and low end drop of of the closed subs.

It sounds great with a lot of punch!

Pros
Build in DSP with a lot of features, x-over, peq, limiter(watt), dynamic eq, delay, user presets and so on. individual per channel or combined.
Alot of power!
Lightweight
volume knobs on the front with distinct steps.
you get a sticker..
USB connection for pc software for tuning. most stuff can be done via front panel too but more via pc software.
lots of bang for the buck
great control of speakers

Cons
peq don't go under 20hz (you can still boost under 20hz with some clever use of the x-over and a first order filter)
LOUD fan, no speed control. but can quite easily be changed to something quiter if you need to be in the same room. warranty is probably voided by this thou..
no power remote input.

I would recommend it to anyone.

Lightweight in Kg, Heavyweight in Sound Quality
UK Beachboys 24.05.2020
I've never paid attention to the negative press Behringer used to receive and simply made my own mind up. I have 2 X X32, lots of P16 mixers so when I needed some amps for a new system I spotted these. Initially the draw was the weight, but then I noticed the digital version, and for the small increase in cost went with a couple of these - blind. My intention was to do the crossover in the X32, but once I had them in the rack, I tried the laptop programming of the crossover functions and decided that this would make the rack more versatile for multiple uses, so I just feed these amps with a L+R and leave them to do the crossover functions. Works perfectly. I'm never careful with equipment - my use of every product is heavy handed and I often break 'rules' and these appear quite happy to accept accidental no load, or simple power up by just turning on. They just work. No excessive temperatures, no annoying features. The fans are quite loud, if that's an issue, and I wish they had the choice of XLR and jack, as in some of the Thomann own brands - as you can use these for loopthroughs. On these amps I had to make up cables to do this, but it's a small point. The absolutely best feature of course is the weight - as in they weigh so little. I have a Thomann 2400 amp in the same rack. It weighs more than the two Behringers combined, plus some! The LCD screens on the front are quite narrow angle, so reading them from above or the sides can be tricky - you need to be face on to really see the detail - if like me you wear varifocal glasses, it's difficult to read without squatting down, but that's a minor point. I'll certainly buy more of these.

Perfect for bass transducers on my simulator rig.
Twinny 31.03.2020
Using this to drive 2x Buttkicker LFE's on my simulator. I returned a recently purchased NU1000D that I purchased from another online retailer as this was just released within the return window for not much more money.

The amp has plenty of overhead if you're not driving the LFE's at their max and this DSP version has loads of features to make sure you can get the best sound out of your setup without fear of not having enough power or damaging your equipment. Specifically bought the DSP version as the built in filters and crossovers mean I can have the granularity I need to control the audio being pushed to the transducers, which is essential when they are being used to replicate specific effects in racing or flying simulators.

Only two downsides which are more of an unfortunate design choice then an actua downside, doesn't really detract from the value:

1. Some of the DSP features are only useable through the USB interface meaning you have to have a computer connected to it for really fine tuning. You can save the patches and recall them without the PC after you have made them. Onboard menu is perfectly funtional but better off using the software when setting it up.

2. The fans are LOUD. No change here from the previous model. This is the only reason I knocked a star off quality because this thing looks and sounds great otherwise.

Will be picking up a few more of these as I acquire more transducers.
