Great bells, even greater price!

Bought these bells to add a different type of sound/sauce to my percussion set up (congas,bongos etc). These are (in my opinion) the pros and the cons of these small but nice bells:

Pros:
Well Made, small size bells.
The bells threads came white (not red as shown on the picture). No biggie since I felt that white blended better with my normal set up.
Nice weight and feel since I played the bells with my hands NOT with my ankles.
Great sound for recordings and/or acoustic settings (accents,effects,ambience)

Cons:
Don't expect a loud,cutting sound from these bells. It would get lost in the mix if used in a live non-mic'ed situation.
If you're looking to add something different, with a great sound and just enough sweetness and sauciness, turn your eyes upon these item.
It would not disappoint!

P.S As always Thomann's service was superb,fast and reliable!

Mini JP Bouvet Bells

Bought these as I saw JP bouvet with them on his hi hat (A great application for them by the way). They are much smaller bells than he has on his kit, but produces a similar sound.

Buying similar products on eBay runs up to about £30, so getting them from here was a real no-brainer to me.

The sound is similar to normal jingles, but without the horrible Christmas association. Really nice.

Applications for this item go beyond hi-hats, you can put them on any part of the drum set for interesting sounds. Oh, and they probably sound great on you ankles, only I've never tried it.
