Damper Pads

The self-adhesive gel pads adhere to the surface of drums, cymbals and most percussion instruments. The possibilities are endless. By simply relocating the Moongel pads to the surface areas where unwanted overtones are being omitted, they will be eliminated to a greater or lesser extent. The damper pad is washable and will retain its stickiness for years of service.

Really makes a difference!

I'm using one for each tom and two on the floor tom. Didn't need to damp the bass drum but i guess it works the same, only you would need more than two for that. I also use one on the snare.

They cut the sustain that resonates for no reason and that is sometimes bothering when getting through the sound of the other instruments.

Small enough not to hit them if applied on the front face of the drum. Again, they really make a difference.

Very satisfied, I recommend!

Le folosesc pentru tom-uri, cazan si snare ... sunt usor de transportat, de curatat, de depozitat. Cel mai usor se observa efectul la snare drum, overtonurile nedorite dispar repede.

I use the moongel to make cymbals sound drier

I started using this on cymbals to make them sound dry. It perfectly worked, and this is how I ended up using this product. Anywhere where I go, I carry a pair of DAMPER PADS in my stick bag.

I play a lot of jazz suff, it is crucial for me to be able to ride properly. When you go in Jam session, they often do not have good cymbal, always have those, thick, shiny and sustaining one, I use the moongel to mute the sound and have it dried. Easy to put, easy to remove

For this purpose I give this product 5 star *****
PS: this get easily lost, make sure you remove them after your gig.

ONE LAST THING, AVOID LEAVING THE PADS EXPOSED TO HIGH TEMPERATURES, IT WILL MELT AND YOU WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO REUSE THEM. KEEP THEM IN A DRY AND COOL PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
