Mic usage in rap

Great microphone. Omni option great to use for second track of chorus (really check it) gives it this flat feeling frequency response like wall of sound with natural, larger reverb. I use omni for singing the most when I want to get rid of low frequency, omni gives that natural compression and less warmer, more airy sound.

Overall mic is great, has really stable low mid and low frequency, something other than Shure Sm7B that feels really unstable at this spectrum. Open sounding, really nice top end and better translation in mid range so your voice sits well on all devices.

Little bit to harsh in 3100-4150 spectrum. Maybe this is my voice resonant frequency? I don't know. Know that this is really vulnerable part of spectrum, just cut it will be fine.

I work something like 4 months with this mic and never brought up shure sm7b again. Now I save time on shaping/cutting/scupling the tone on shure sm7b muddy frequency.

Verry good sonding mic for the price

I use the microphone with RME ucx I I. Before I bought it, I watched a lot of videos and references on the net. For me this mic does a very good job, for the price the mic sounds amazing. Compared to my old Rode, this mic needs very little processing. I'm thinking of getting a Warm Audio WA273 soon, the expected result is that the vocals are almost ready when recording. However, check the information on the Internet and draw your own conclusions

its my favorite mic to use and is the best mic hands down budgetwise and if you connect it through a good mic preamp you just cant go wrong...

Wer den Sony Klangcharakter sucht aber keine 10k bzw 4 k für das golden age pendant übrig hat ist hier genau richtig. Verglichen mit den c800 emulationen des slate ml1 hat man hier einen deutlich räumlicheren klang. Top Hifi Sound danke warm und danke Thomann!
