This pedal was deceiving to actually what this pedal does. There are very subtle settings for gain, tone, OD that you can tweak your guitar for a cleaner, fuller, silky response that makes this pedal a must have for dialing in a wide range of tones into your amp, or into the your signal chain. This seems to be an attempt at a stage of processing that the Ethos (Dumble-style preamp) has.

Seit ich den Steel String MK II testweise von einem Freund ausgeliehen hatte, war klar: brauche ich auch! Dass es dann der SSS SRV geworden ist, betrachte ich als glückliche Fügung. Das „Pedal“ ist eher ein Amp im Mini-Format mit ner breiten Palette an Tone-shaping Möglichkeiten. Von fetten, griffigen (unteren) Mitten bis zu glasig perlenden Höhen brilliert der Steel String Supreme SRV und liefert genau das, was man erwarten darf. Die Verarbeitung ist top - wie man es von Vertex gewohnt ist - das Pedal fühlt sich super an! Klinke und Stromversorgung befinden sich am Kopfende, was für den Einsatz auf dem Pedalboard mehr als hilfreich ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung und mehr noch: für alle Stevie, John Mayer und co. Fans ein muss!

On sait se que l'ont recherche en achetant cette pédale, inutile de revenir sur le son recherché.
Ne pas avoir peur des nombreux réglages, impossible quelle sonne mal.
Exceptionnel sur le canal clair ( un peu poussé ) d'un Fender Princeton.
Nickel devant une simulation ( Bias amp, Kemper)
Bizarrement , elle est intéressante aussi en amont d'un canal saturer.
Par contre , résultat non concluant devant un simulateur de HP Tow Notes comme indiqué sur leurs site.
Elle sait ce quelle doit faire et le fait parfaitement...
Bravo à Vertex pour cette réussite.
