Acoustic Guitar with Pickup

The Grand Concert Builders Edition is suitable for fingerstyle and light strumming and features Taylor V-Class bracing for higher volume, extended sustain and improved intonation. Rosewood back and sides give the guitar deep basses and brilliance in the trebles, while the Lutz spruce top, together with the short scale, provides the dynamics. The rounded contours, the armrest and the bevelled cutaway allow comfortable playability up to the highest registers, while the satin finish additionally reduces noise caused by friction on the body. The pickup is Taylor's own active ES2 piezo system with bass, treble and volume controls.

Eine "Kathedrale"

Ein wunderschönes, perfektes Instrument: optisch, haptisch und über allem der Klang. In allen Lagen unglaublich voll und harmonisch. Auch leichtes Strumming klingt voll und sehr rund. Armrest und das Silent Satin-Finish sind traumhaft. Die Verarbeitung ist auf höchstem Niveau - ein einzigartiger großer Handschmeichler. Ich besitze auch eine Taylor 312ce 12-Fret. Ein wunderbares Instrument mit sehr gutem Klang. Gleichwohl, die 912ce WHB spielt in jeder Hinsicht in einer ganz anderen Liga. Auch was die Bespielbarkeit betrifft. Ob der fast dreifache Preis gegenüber der 312 wirklich gerechtfertigt ist und ob man so viel Geld für eine Gitarre ausgeben soll? Muss jede*r für sich entscheiden und hängt natürlich auch von den finanziellen Möglichkeiten ab. Ich habe den Kauf jedenfalls noch keinen Tag bereut. Ist letztlich eine Anschaffung fürs Leben, an der spätere Generationen hoffentlich auch noch ihre Freude haben werden.
