you won't find anything better for this price.
The stand is very sturdy, great stand, nothing special. It's nice and comes in a decent bag.
The microphone though, is absolutely amazing. I use it all the time, I've had people come over to do vocal recordings with it and they could barely believe me when I told them how much it cost.
The only issue is that it is very sensitive to direction and distance. even a little bit more then other dynamic mics. If you have someone singing or talking in it who has decent mic technique, this isn't an issue at all, but otherwise it might be a little awkward to work with.
I'll be using it live soon, but since it's a simple dynamic mic, good enough even for simple recordings, it will probably do great live.

Amazing Value
For the price, this is an excellent starter kit. However, compared to a slightly more expensive mic, the mic included is lacking in acoustic quality.
I use it for podcasting and I find it very difficult to adjust my mixer to a setting which minimises hiss when using this mic. Using my Sennheiser however, and I can get crystal clear sound with little effort.
Given the nature of podcasting versus use by musicians for sessions, I think that my needs are very different and I wouldn't discourage musicians from purchasing it. Especially since the entire package when taken as a whole is amazingly good value and it is called a 'singer pack' after all.

Unbelievable!!!!!
I tried this mic with a Roland Digital mixer and was superb. I tried with voices and also setting up with my djembe drum... The sound was fantastic.. the high ends and low ends matches together. And the Mic stand is very sturdy.

Great deal!
For the price, its a great deal. A decent mic and a reliable stand. It works well for the acoustic jams & small gigs that its used for. Its also well packed in a compact box when you receive it.

Excellent microphone, reliable stand, high-quality cord, comfortable cover. A very good set for a vocalist.

Noticeably cheap
Mic itself is not great, must be said. It did the trick for starting out, but it's got heavy frequency bias towards low-mids, which is very off-putting and can peak the signal unnecessarily. It has lasted a long time though, and comes in handy as a spare drum mic for rough demos.
The mic stand is hardy, though quite light. It has taken a beating in the last 5 years and has held up better than many more expensive ones.

Great value and quality
I have been using this mic for some time now.
It really is well made and gives a great quality sound for my needs.
I haven't gigged with it but use it for home recording.
Crisp highs and lows,
I don't have any any issues as far as sound quality goes.
I love the build quality and it has recieved a fair amount of abuse but continues to deliver.
If you require a budget mic that won't let you down and produces a good quality result, then look no further.

Outstanding value!
I feel this has to be one of the best microphone bundles one can purchase these days.
This bundle includes everything you need, including: The mic itself, mic holder, mic stand, xlr cable, a mic thread adapter, a bag for the mic and a bag for the stand.
Pros:
1) Everything fits nicely into one small bag.
2) The mic stand is made from iron so it's extremely sturdy and won't fall over easily.
3) All parts are included in this bundle which eliminates the need to buy other parts separately such as a cable and clip.
4) There is also a switch on the mic to turn it on and off.
Cons:
1)The plastic wing nut for the boom arm on the mic stand feels pretty cheap and is the sort of thing that would break easily if someone careless was adjusting or using the stand.
---------------
Summary:
All in all this microphone bundle is perfect for rehearsing and for live gigs. I would definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget and I would also buy it again.

Nice budget kit
I bought this as a nice compact kit to bring along for small pub gigs. The quality is good and the sound is quite clear. The mic stand alone is worth the price. The mic feels like it will last with some care but maybe not as durable as some.
Overall, a great value for the money!

Alright
I do have to say that this product it great value, though I find the sound just a little dry no matter what I do to it , the mic seems to pick up exactly what I want.
