classic capo
Everyone has their own favourite style of capo. I love shubbs.
What's perfect about a shubb?
It's small, it's precise, it doesn't get in the way, it holds the strings evenly and firmly, it's quick to place, you spring it after you've placed it (ie you are not holding the spring in tension while lining it up); it's adjustable, there are several different models with different curvatures for different types of guitar neck.
All in all, it is a perfect piece of micro engineering.

Still the best
I've owned a lot of capos over the years and have tried many of the newer ones. I still find the Shubb C2 to be the most reliable, most consistent, and easiest to use. You can adjust it quickly, it snaps on & off in a matter of seconds, and it fits the neck perfectly.

Excellent
The best capo I have ever used on my classical guitars. Fast and accurate placement, no harm on the instrument, no bulky look.

Shubb C2
Although I bought this capodaster some Time ago I also own the new style. The old style as well as the new style modell is an exzellent product which does exactly what I bought it for. Nevertheless I am happy that Shubb did a recent brush up, cause the new style model is a bit easier to handle.

The only capo
The basic working principle of the Shubb capo is ingenious. It puts on just as much pressure as you choose, so it's very easy on the frets. And it can be fastened with a flick of a wrist. It can even be switched from one neck profile to another in seconds. Just turn the adjusting screw slightly. The proper use is very easy to learn.
This, of course, is for a Classical guitar, it is somewhat longer than the regular capos and it is almost flat. It's great, but perhaps the deluxe model with the roller is sufficiently better to justify the few extra euros.

Best capo
I have both C1 and C2 versions, they both are the best. They don't get in the way, look elegant and work without flaws. A very cleaver design!

The best capo
There's no good reason to choose any other capo than this. I've been using mine for about twenty years, and it still works as new - and spare parts can still be bought easily and cheaply. Looking for a capo? This is the one.
