Good sound but has it's issues
This pickup works OK for those who don't want to drill into their shiny hand made guitars, but be prepared to adjust your playing style for the increased bridge height, or get your guitar set up to compensate for it. I found mine much more uncomfortable to play so ended up using a microphone anyway. The cables running across your guitar also don't look particularly pleasant, so I would say consider other options such as the bigtone, which is a little more discreet. It likely has to be removed every time you put it back into a fitted hard case, which is OK as the velcro it comes with is pretty decent. The overall build quality is questionable though. The cables are thin and the unit is plastic.

Value for the money
Ok in English so everyone can read this review. I think it is value for the money. But the most important thing is. How on earth are you going to install whatever pick up system into this guitar with the petit bouche? It is nearley inpossible for amateur luthiers like me. And then the Shadow pu is gold!! Even the biggest nitwit can install this. I install the pu on a Dell Arte PG1 Pigalle and it sound ok. Just bought muself a Altamira witk K & K pu installed. Much easier because of the GRANDE Bouche. But nevertheless a great PUwith a great sound and also a great tension to Feeback. I use a Zoom Acoustic pedal with Feedbackkiller and it works great. The Shadow has a little bit less tension to feedback and is there is no other possibilliy go for it. You won't be disssapointed. I hope.......

Nicely made pickup. Easy to fit, although there could be more comprehensive instructions, to avoid any ambiguities e.g. I wondered whether or not to remove the plastic coverings from the piezos.
Non-invasive, which is a good thing, and sounds good, if possibly a little bright (there's a tone control, though). A larger volume knob would help with on-the-fly gigging adjustments.
