Hard.

A little hard sounding in neck position for me, eq adjustment needed, but my needs are my needs.
This is a nice and strong sounding pickup, I screw it well away from the strings to soften the hard, its good there through my Roland jc 22.
I'm a mostly chord/melody style player, with no lead guitaring, but gypsy jazz with a lady singer. My guitar sound has to gell with "her voice & mine".
A few gigs with it and I'll be happy.

Der AZ49 kommt in einer schicken Verpackung, ist sorgfältig verpackt und die Kabelenden sind bereits optimal abisoliert und vorverzinnt. Die umfangreiche Bedienungsanleitung deckt die gesamte Shadowpalette ab, den AZ49 allerdings nur mit einem Satz (mehr ist aber auch nicht nötig). Der Klang ist ebenso gediegen wie das Erscheinungsbild, lässt einem aber auch nicht die Kinnlade herabsacken. Höhen und Tiefen sind wohl definiert. Ich habe zwei von den AZ49 in eine Ibanez Artist eingebaut, auch zusammen geben sie ein wohlklingendes Bild ab. Sie sind durchweg empfehlenswert (sogar für härtere Gangarten als den cleanen Jazz), wenn auch nicht gerade preisgünstig.

Chouette son, dommage que le SI - pas de vis de réglage - écrase le MI quel que soit le jeu de cordes, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire, il faut y aller en douceur, avec un maximum de doigté....

Das ist einer der besten Tonabnehmer

Ich besitze eine ganz normale Jazz Gitarre und habe die alten Tonabnehmer ausgebaut und habe mir gleich zwei dieser Tonabnehmer Shadow AZ49 gekauft und mir in diese Gitarre eingebaut. Dieses Produkt hat mich voll und ganz überzeugt und bin voll zufrieden damit. Dieser Tonabnehmer wird ja, so viel wie ich weiß nur in einer Framus eingebaut, man kann aber so wie ich gemacht habe, diesen Tonabnehmer in jede andere Jazz Gitarre selber einbauen oder einbauen lassen. Ich würde dieses Produkt jeden weiterempfehlen, weil man als Leihe damit auch gleich zurecht kommt und in einem professionellen Tonstudio sehr gut einsetzbar ist!
