Neutrik NDF
A fantastic idea from Neutrik - these slip over your XLR inputs and protect from dust and airborne contaminants. I have some expensive units and these help to keep things clean

Simple but extremely useful
I own a Millenium SD-180 studio desk, the rack mounted devices are tilted, around 50°, and dust easily gets into the unused jack/xlr connectors.
This dumb cheap gummy thing basically saves my equipment on the long run.
It's also rather small and invisible, the images make it look much bigger.

Useful and relatively inexpensive
Helps keep the dust out of the unused female XLR receptacles on your beloved gear.

A cheap product that you should always have
I bought other caps too. An accessory to keep in the studio to protect the connectors from dust in the studio and on the go. Special if you also work in field recording.
Raccomended.

They're ok
Probably better if you don't use them on gear that travels a lot. I lose them often, lucky they're cheap.

A good XLR cover
Does what it should, no faults yet.
I use this to plug the unused top-facing XLR on the Cube Street EX amp, otherwise it collects a lot of dust and debris.
