The quality of the product matches the price. The snare works fine but I was more interested in the harness. Its very light. Plenty to adjust on it. I might feel a little more confident with it when I put a waste strap on it. I am still looking at how to adapt it for a Timba hand drum but I think it should work.
Simplicity is the key with this purchase.

Good enough

After some tuning and tape I got the sound I was looking for. It's pretty heavy and not very ergonomic. I would NOT recommend this for long marches or concerts! I use it in the studio for short recordings, extra layering, so it's perfectly fine for these short periods. The sound is okay for me for simple things but it's not really very professional.

Mit dem MILLENIUM MD124C MARCHING SNARE SET wird das Spielen der kleinen Trommel zum Kinderspiel. Die Halterung der Snare-Drum ist gut und stabil verarbeitet.
Die Snaredrum kann sich zwar nicht mit einer Konzertsnare messen, aber liefert einen durchaus brauchbaren Sound. Sind die mitgelieferten Felle abgespielt, so kann man die Snare durch gute Felle von Remo oder Evans auch soundmässig noch etwas aufpeppeln.
Unserer Nachwuchsdrummer im Musikverein waren auf jeden Fall begeistert endlich baumelt die Marsch Snaredrum nicht mehr am Bein herum, sondern befindet sich in einger guten Spielposition vor dem Körper.
Thomann hat mit seiner Eigenmarke "Millenium" wiedermal gezeigt das brauchbares Musikequipment nicht teuer sein muss. LOB :-)

Evaluation du harnais particulièrement

La caisse ayant été revendue immédiatement permettant d'acquérir ainsi un harnais à relativement bas prix..

Je l'ai quand même essayé, c'est une caisse de rue qui manque cruellement de finesse mais rassurez vous dans des contextes bruyants et saturés (batucadas, fanfares..) les vilaines harmoniques seront absorbées par l'ensemble et votre caisse fera probablement très bien son boulot, sans compter qu'un petit changement de peau et un bon accordage/matage peuvent faire des miracles !

Le harnais maintenant que j'utilise toujours occasionnellement :

Je n'en suis pas très content en fait parce que les mousses noires des bretelles se détachent régulièrement et ce quasiment depuis le début (l'humidité ? elles sont collées mais ont du mal à maintenir la forme), sans compter le confort plutôt moyen quand on se charge un peu, à cause de ces mousses un peu ferme et du manque de réglages possible, ça reste un premier prix..

Cela dit pour conclure je dirais que pour le prix ça fait quand même bien le boulot et je conseille ce set aux débutants et aux amateurs désireux de commencer sans se ruiner !
