Very nice round edge mouthpiece

High quality, nice finish mouthpiece.

The edge is very rounded just like Claude Gordon wanted, also the throat is large and easy to blow in.

The idea with this mouthpiece was to practice a lot to hit the notes and be able to blow with a big volume when needed with a resulting full sound. Claude was a training routine freak, read up on him and listen to his recordings :)

If you need a completely round edge mouthpiece (no flats at all) that is also fairly large-feeling diameter because of the round edge then this is very nice for all round playing.

It might not be ideal for all players since there is no bite at all to "anchor" on on an inner edge and also the round rim will not fit all players but some will love it.

La Claude Gordon pour l'endurance dans l'aigu !

Voir mon avis sur la CG P #20.

La GC3, avec sa cuvette moins profonde et son grain légèrement plus petit (22 quand même !) "tue" moins vite que la P le trompettiste amateur !

Moins de flexibilité dans le grave et son nettement plus brillant que la P, sinon les mêmes qualités, à commencer par la puissance et la gestion de la justesse.

Bord et diamètre = CGP, ce qui est cool pour passer de l'une à l'autre sans gros dépaysement.

C'est celle que j'emporte au Big Band ou je joue la seconde et doit "passer au dessus" des autres musiciens pendant les solos + endurance et brillance au top.

En petite formation Jazz le son de la CGP est à mon avis plus adapté.

Je ne joue pas de Lead mais cette embouchure est quand même à mon avis un peu trop profonde pour rester longtemps dans le suraigu (si on compare la cuvette à une 13A4a par exemple) sauf encore une fois pour les surdoués qui font du lead avec une 3C ou pire !

Das Mundstück ist untypisch für einen "High Note Getter" da es einen schmalen, eher runden Rand und einen weiten Kesseldurchmesser hat.

Es ist auch tiefer als z.B. ein Breslmayr G4. Auf meinen Trompeten zieht das Mundstück aber ab wie eine Rakete. Die hohen Töne kommen klar, sauber und kräftig, obwohl ich nicht mit guter Höhe gesegnet bin.

Idealerweise sollte man es aber im Laden ausprobieren; die Lippen und Münder sind so verschieden; kann sein dass es anderen ganz anders geht...

PS: Ich verwende es jetzt auch für die Piccolo-Trompete!
PPS: Die MARCINKIEWICZ CLAUDE GORDON Mundstücke haben alle den selben Rand für Flügelhorn, Trompete und Kornett; daher ideal für "Wechsler".
