The Jensen JET Tornado sounds a lot like the NEO 12", but has a rounder, richer bass due to its lower resonant frequency. The Tornado's bass is nonetheless always perfectly focussed. A full, warm and clear sound with defined, shimmering highs and consistently perfect definition, even when overdriven.

First time buying speaker

I always have liked Fender amps, and I then I saw, that they often are using Jensen speakers. I wanted to buy speaker because I thought it makes a lot of difference in sound, and it is cheaper than buying new amp.

I have a bad cheap combo amp, Fender Frontman 75w. I put this speaker in it, and also bought Harley Benton American pedal to use as preamp. Now, with the speaker and preamp, my rig sounds a lot better.

Replacing speaker was easy, and there are no problems with quality.

That thing rules!

I've had Fender Deluxe combo with Neo Creamback and it sounded like crap. It farted, it wasn't able to hold clear tone and it was causing me a headache. I've swapped for this guy and now it's like a spilled pot of honey. I LOVE that sound and can't get enough of it. Very recommended.

Ein unglaublicher Lautsprecher

Dieser Speaker bildet den Klang meines Peavey 6534+ so gnadenlos neutral und brutal sauber ab, dass ich mich ernsthaft frage, wie ich nur 20 Jahre lang mit diesen ganzen Celestion Dingern arbeiten konnte. Das hier ist wirklich ganz großes Kino der Firma Jensen!

Gitarrenlautsprecher "verändern" oft so stark im Höhen-, Mitten-, und Bassbereich, dass man lange suchen muss, bis man den richtigen Speaker zu seinem Sound gefunden hat und am Ende fehlt immer ein bißchen Schub oder man hat zu scharfe Höhen, etc. Dieses Drama bleibt mit diesem Speaker aus. Alle, wirklich alle Frequenzbereiche sind extrem ausgewogen und werden präzise wiedergegeben. Die EQ Sektion des Amps kann endlich so arbeiten, wie sie soll und wird nicht vom Speaker bestimmt. Der Jensen Tornado ist ein High-End Gitarrenlautsprecher, der immer ausgewogen spielt, irre brutal klingen kann, aber sich immer irgendwie zuckersüß und warm präsentiert, auch bei hohen Lautstärken.
Sekundär find ich grandios, dass meine 4x12er Box jetzt über 15 Kilo leichter ist, was meinem lädierten Rücken sehr zugute kommt.

Der Preis ist zwar doch recht heftig, aber leider gerechtfertigt, meine Damen und Herren.

Qualité et son Jensen...

Trés bon son sur un Fender Deluxe VM.
Donc si vous souhaitez remplacer le Hp d'origine (celestion bas de gamme plutôt criard a mon gout), alors essayez celui-là si vous voulez garder l'esprit cristalin de l'ampli. Attention, peu de Hp conviennent au deluxe VM en raison de la faible profondeur de la caisse et de la grille de protection des lampes (grille que j'ai du légèrement limer...)
HP Jensen de trés bonne qualité.
