Too short

I have a solar 8 strings with 27" and the 8th string is too short. The string need like 4cm longer to be instaled on an inverted headstock.
I tried it in my 7 strings and the sound is correct for that price. If you play kind of jazz or blues. Not so clear for those who play metal "pinch" harmonics at high gain.

These strings as good as D'Addarios

I've been wanting to try HB strings for awhile and I'm glad I did. For 1/3 the price, I got a set of strings that play and sound as nice as the expensive strings I was using. There's no going back now!

Dieses ist der erste Satz Saiten, den ich auf meiner Harley Benton R-458 selber aufgezogen habe. Gegenüber der (dünneren) Erstausstattung haben vor allem die tieferen Saiten deutlich an Kraft zugelegt. Die hohen Saiten schneiden nicht ganz so brillant ins Ohr, was ich persönlich vorteilhaft finde, was aber auch Geschmackssache ist. Die "Nano-Polymer-Beschichtung" erscheint mir hier übrigens angenehmer als die "nichtrostend beschichteten" HB-6-Saiter-Sätze, die mir etwas ölig vorkommen. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich nach gut einer Woche noch nichts Belastbares beisteuern.
Vergleichsmaßstäbe zu anderen 8-Saiter-Sätzen habe ich bislang nicht. Von meiner inzwischen über 40jährigen Erfahrung mit 6-Saitern her nehme ich aber an, dass sich die hierauf übertragen lässt: Wenn ein Satz Saiten mehr kostet als 20tel der Gitarre, stimmen die Relationen nicht mehr richtig. Insofern: Daumen hoch.
