Smaller than expected, but expands to fit on spike
I have a fairly old cello (in a cheap rather than antique way) with a solid steel endpin.
I am not sure if there is any industry standard in cello spike tip sizes, but when I saw the size of this stopper I thought that it wouldn't fit on the tip of my cello spike.
As it was under one Euro, I thought I would try and jam it on anyway because I wasn't going to return it. To my surprise it expanded and fit on... albeit tightly and somewhat awkwardly.
It grips carpet, but I think it would be better for a hard floor where the tip was a bit bendy allowing it to be anchored a bit better.
Every cellist should have one. It is only 79 cents or something, why not?

Easy to use but not really useful
I bought the Gewa Floor Protection for Cello for my ex girlfriend's cello. It is really easy to use: Just pull it on an go. OK, the floor will be protected but her cello continued to slip away, which was the reason why we bought it.
Buy it to protect your floor, not to stop you cello from slipping away.

Fits like a charm
Fits like a charm on the endpin of my cello. My old one disintegrated after twelve years so I needed a new one. This cap does just fine.

Gewa spike protector
Useful to stop your cello spike inadvertently stabbing things. No good though, for stopping a cello skidding across a wooden floor whilst playing. Don't get bobble shaped one if you want to use it with a black hole; the cylinder shape works better.

Just what you want
Was cheap and does exactly what you want it to. My son always loses these so I ordered a few when ordering something else.

Works as intended, stops the endpin pretty well and protects it.

It's cheap, does its job - not damaging the floor. I can only recommend it

It fits well and works as described. The only observation is that while I bought two, the one I used first started degrading and had to use the second one in a short period of time. The second one though, remains intact even after a lot of use.
