Brilliant quality and good factory set-up

Been looking at various tele-style guitars for quite a while (well over a year) and finally decided to buy the Ultra, although I did not consider it from the beginning. Got it two days ago, used twice during rehearsals. It is simply brilliant. The sound is typical 'tele', tried / heard it many times with few Mex teles and G&L guitars - they really all sound alike with very pronounced bass E string sound. Now what amazed me is that guitar was playable and enjoyable straight after getting out of the box (even not much out of tune) - something that does not often happen even with quality-concerned brand guitars such as PRS. So far I do not see any need to do any adjustment, everything looks/sounds almost perfect ('almost' goes towards intonation). I am really glad I got this one.

I was a little scared of him, a lot of bad things can be read, but I was not disappointed. Perfect sound, assembly. Beautiful guitar with beautiful sound

Perfekt, aber nicht von Thomann

Grundsätzlich kann ich jetzt nichts (mehr) bemängeln. Nach über 15 Jahren Gitarre meine erste Tele. Bis dato habe ich beinahe ausschließlich meine Gitarren im Musikgeschäft gekauft. Corona bedingt war das im Frühjahr nicht möglich und deshalb habe ich mal den Versuch hier gewagt.

Um das ganze Abzukürzen, die Gitarre war wie sie von Thomann geliefert wurde unspielbar - also bespielen konnte man sie schon - aber es klang grauenhaft!

(Unspielbares) Scheppern der tiefen Saiten, Probleme mit der Intonation, Oktavenreinheit etc... Quasi einmal quer durch den Problembaukasten. Von Thomann selbst kam auch nur wenig hilfreiches per Mail und schon gar keine Entschuldigung.

Eine Gitarre um € 2000,-- so versenden...? Immerhin wars mir eine Lehre, nie wieder Thomann.

Noch zum Abschluss: Ich selbst konnte den Klang nur bedingt richten. Nachdem der Gitarrenbauer meines Vertrauens die Tele eingestellt hat klingt sie ausgezeichnet und es macht seither auch riesen Spaß darauf zu spielen.
