EDIT March 2020
Good bye to D'ario and Exir brands, sais I, after trying out these Fender strings. These strings sing so well and so balanced Im speachless! Very articulate and very warm, no mud here on the lower strings and no harsh on the high strings! Love it! Im totally sold! Not sure how long they will last but time will tell. The Exir brand sounds too thin and the D'ario brand sounds too dark (good for Delta Blues maybe, but not for my style). These Fender strings sound just right, very balanced. Did I say they are very balanced? Yes they are! My go to string for my solid spruce top dread with Ovangkol fretbaord and Walnut back and sides!
EDIT March 2020; Must say these didnt last very long before they sounded like a tin can. They lost that 3D sound and sounded flat after 3 month. I only play this guitar at home. I wish they lasted longer. Will try the Elixir again just to observe how long it lasts and then make a decission if Im to go back to this Fender set or not.

Great sounding strings
Earlier this year I bought a Martin D-28 Authentic 1931 with high hopes of an amazing sound. It came with Martin SP strings and I was deeply dissapointed with its sound. I changed the strings for the much heralded Martin Authentic strings. Again, very dissapointing. A friend had tried and recommended these Fenders, so I bought a couple of sets and fitted them......WOW! What a difference. They have transformed this guitar. Describing the sound of an acoustic guitar is like trying to describe wine, but the sound of this D-28 is now strong, rich with overtones, shimmering and crystaline. I play single notes and just listen to the sound hanging in the air as it slowly dies away. I simply cannot stop playing this guitar, the sound is so good. AND I believe these strings have substantially contributed to this turnaround. I am soon to fit a set to another old Martin. I will keep you all informed.
Interestingly these are made in the USA, not Mexico as most other brands seem to be. How relevant this is I cant say, just an observation!

Best strings in price range.
These strings are on par with daddario coated strings. For the price they are excellent. Shame the .12-.54 are more expensive but still better value than daddario.

Nice bright tone
I really love these strings, they have a soft tone that suits my Martin LX1 absolutely perfect. Excellent sound and quality for the price. Maybe they aren't so bright as Martin lifespan strings but they are much cheaper. It's really hard to brake them. Another good news is that they lasting for long time. I also need to admit that this bronze coating on the plain strings looks so cool. I recommend to everyone!

Tried these after reading some reviews,
A nicely balanced set, I think I would prefer them in mediums though. they seem to have a very light coating compared to elixers and feel nice under the fingers,, I was a little bit disappointed with here volume though, not a loud as some other brands

Crisp tone
Crisp bluegrassy tone. Doesn't last too long but for the first couple of weeks is really something special...not so durable as Elixir - but are better sounding strings
