Great guitar, but not the best value.

Really nice looking finish, it’s hand striped, so slightly different to what you see on the pictures or videos, but looks great. also the fretboard wasn’t too dark like some reviews online mention.

I’m really happy with the sound of the Pickup, it cleans up really well but still maintains some clarity and very punchy for high-gain. The volume pot is low friction, very fast and great for volume swells.

The playability of the guitar is very good, you can get nice low action (1.2-1.5mm), although there is some more buzzing than on my higher end guitars, but definitely not unacceptable levels of buzz.

The main downsides of this guitar are the quality of the hardware for the price, the EVH floyd rose feels quite cheap like most import models, and the tuning stability is less than ideal. I would immediately swap it for a Schaller if it was my main tremolo guitar. the D-Tuna system was not oiled properly and felt very stiff before using some oil, but overall functions as expected after some setup work. The machine heads are quite decent, but not amazing.

Overall if the price was a bit lower it would be a 5/5 guitar, it’s very nice. but for nearly €1500 I think the guitar shouldn’t need any hardware upgraded!

Great guitar!

Quality made. Very light and well balanced guitar. Honestly, I did not expect from a Mexican factory. I thought that I would hang it on the wall and this would be her place, but this is a very playable instrument! Compared to guitars of a higher segment, everything is fine! Great sound!!! I do not regret the purchase at all!

Une légende entre mes mains !!!!

La Franky est la copie de la première guitare qu'Eddie à utilisé dans Van Halen après toutes les modifications que le génie à apporté à cette guitare.
Le résultat de cette copie est une pure merveille autant au niveau look avec tous les coups les manques de peinture la plaque découpé et surtout le manche retravaillé comme si c'était un vieux manche sale et usé...le résultat est fabuleux...Une guitare d'une facilité déconcertante à jouer....surtout le manche on dirait qu'on a toujours possédé cette merveille et en plus niveau son...c'est un monstre le Brown sound est à ma portée suivant sur quoi je la branche. Le son est gras, doux, agressif mais sans être criard...bref une pure merveille..une réussite totale !!!!!
