Interesting product
Paired with celestion cdx1-1445, give me pleasant sound, but be careful-in this horn equalization is needed (about +6db/octave above 3.5 kHz). This is in accordingly with theory of operation of CD horn and expected. Covering angle is good until the highest (above 16kHz) frequency where is slightly beamed, but nothing worrying. With horn you get sponge pad about two millimeters thick-good bonus. Also, horn have brilliant finish - maybe interesting look for home, but in PA would prefer mate finish-hence four stars for total rate.

It always amazes me how differently can sound different compression drivers with different horns. I tried 18sound XT120 with various compression drivers and found out the most natural sound with BMS 4524, the cheapest compression driver in their series.
Due its size high crossing (above 4kHz) of driver with this horn is preferable. This also allows to avoid nasty distortion componentsin 1.5-3.5kHz range typical for most compression tweeters. This horn provides quite constant dispersion up to about 16kHz in 30 degree angle. My personal preference is at least 60 degrees. Build quality is as good as you can expect from medium grade plastic.

Good for its price
A good choice for cost-effective projects. Compared to more expensive horns there was no big difference. Good choice for small format full range speakers like with 10" mid bass drivers (12" or bigger not recommended, because off high 2 kHz cutout frequency).
