Great Machine if you travel
I bought the Prime as a traveling controller/player. it's become my favorite companion, I use it with 2 x Bose S1 Pro, and 2 X Sennheiser XSW-D, for a completely cable free beach DJ set, no power no signal cable.

Intuitive
As an old school hobbyist DJ that just knew how to beat mix with vinyl, this was the machine that brought me to the digital beat mixing, took me less than a week to make perfect beat mixes and start focusing just on the musical voyage. Perfect Machine.

Almost Perfect
This little standalone is fantastic overall. It has great sound, professional connections, a sturdy build and more features than should be expected in a package this small. My only complaints are mainly software based and hopefully Denon will fix these with updates. For example, you can't choose the order of your playlists, and songs in your playlists re-order themselves everytime you navigate out of the playlist, which is extremely frustrating.
Hardware wise no real complaints but some nitpicks - triggering of effects could probably be implemented better, the cue button functionality could be made friendlier, and a sampler button would have been great.
Overall, this controller is a feat of engineering and I highly recommend it!

Great small pro controller.
Lacks some substantial features which I hope will be added later via software update. Non-quantized loops are not precise, and that could also be fixed via software update. Other than that, I'm simply in love with this small backpackable battery-powered controller. It provides about 3.5 hours of battery operation. The build is rock-solid, feels like a tank. The audio I/O is pro grade so you can expect reliability, longevity and most of all, 10/10 sound quality. Is it worth the money? I would hesitate to disagree but I expected a little bit more involvement of all the InMusic tech know-how when building the Engine Prime software.
