Great symphonic mouthpiece!

This is a truly great mouthpiece, especially if you doing a lot of "legit" playing. Very close to a Bach 1.25C.

Pros: easy to play, great tone, perfect rim size and shape

Cons: really geared for "legit" work, a bit more expensive than similar mouthpieces (but really worth the extra cost)

Conclusions: this is a fantastic mouthpiece especially for the "legit" players, you need to try it to enjoy it, and yes, it is one of my three favourites

Usinage et finition très soigné. La surface de la cuvette sablé et la gorge strié donne une légère sensation de retenue laquelle permet d'économiser un peu de souffle et de mieux gèrer la colonne d'air et quand on pousse un peu on a le gros son très facilement lequel est solide et ample dans les graves et très mélodique (et non perçant) dans l'aigu et suraigu. Le bord large est très confortable et pour un jeu avec peu ou pas de pression sur les lévres la fléxibilité n'est pas perdu.Bref dans l'ensemble c'est une excellente embouchure mais il ne faut pas oublier qu'elle n'est pas déstiné au debutant mais le trompettiste experimenté peut trouver son bonheur.Ce qui est mon cas.

HAY QUE HACERSE A ELLA, el aro es muy grande por lo cual el apoyo resulta mas cómodo, pero hay que acostumbrarse a tocar con ella, la numeración no coincide con la de bach, o sea no es 1c, puede que 1c de best brass se corresponda cn 1-1/2 de bach

Fantastic mouthpiece!

I went from a Denis Wick 2 heavytop to this amazing mouthpiece. The Best Brass TP-1C is the most comfortable mouthpiece I have ever played. I can keep playing this mouthpiece for 2 hours straight, without getting tired.

Although the mouthpiece is a little bit bigger then the DW 2 heavytop, it is not more difficult to play. In fact I feel that my range has slightly improved.

On te "downside": the mouthpiece is quite expensive, but I feel that the quality justifies the price.
