Ortofon Super OM 5e

I'll be honest, I bought this not for the 5e stylus but for the Super Om body which is otherwise discontinued. I had upgraded the OM20 stylus on my deck to OM30 and had read what a difference the Super OM body makes.

It is quite a distinct difference! A crisper high end and the low end is tighter and more dynamic, more controlled. The combination with the 30 stylus makes for a very satisfying listening experience!

Habe mir das Ortofon-System als Alternative zu meinem Moving Coil -Tonabnehmer bestellt, um meinen Plattenspieler auch an Verstärkern ohne spezielllen MC-Eingang betreiben zu können.
Der Klang über den gesamten Frequenzbereich hat mich wirklich angenehm überrascht.
Ich betreibe das Super OM 5e an einem frisch restaurierten Dual 510 (Riemenantrieb/Halbautomatik von 1976) mit 2g (20mN) Auflagegewicht.
Super Sound, super Verarbeitung, günstiger Preis und schnelle Lieferung, was will man mehr.

En mi caso funciona muy bien. Hay tener en cuenta que según el tocadiscos, el preamp o amplificador integrado, altavoces, estilo y demás condiciones puede ir mejor o peor. Si compras una cápsula mejor, para notar la diferencia de calidad se necesitará que el conjunto completo sea de calidad, en lugar de tener muy buena cápsula con un preamp o amp mediocre o unos altavoces de poca calidad.
Como quería una aguja elíptica y otra esférica compré la aguja esférica para poder cambiar y tener diferentes sonidos.
Respecto a esta cápsula noto mucha más dinámicas que con otras cápsulas de nivel. Aún no he cambiado a la esférica debido a que es difícil separar la aguja de la cápsula y de momento disfruto con ella.
Creo que como muchos productos, hay que saber escoger y saber que se quiere. Veo opiniones negativas a veces, que por lo que escribe el cliente o se nota que no sabe de lo que habla o no ha escogido bien el producto. Como se suele decir: "Para gustos colores"
Habrá casos que otra opción funcione mejor, pero por este precio ahora mismo creo que es de las mejores opciones.
La entrega de Thomann ha sido tan rápida que me sorprendió al llegar mucho antes de lo previsto, incluso viviendo en un pequeño pueblo aislado. No menos importante, bien embalado.
