Classic Dual Rectifier tones and very very versatile with an EQ in the loop
I absolutely love the Dual Rectifier tones, while the Badlander has its own voice the Dual Rectifier DNA is there!
I play NU-Metal, Metallica, and GnR tunes and I liked the idea that this was marketed as a Mesa/Marshall hybrid amp it kind of delivers in that aspect but it needs a little more help.
Pairing it with a Boss SD-1 boost, Ibanez Pentatone 5-band EQ pedal, and my 1×12 Mesa V30 cab has completely unlocked it. This little head can go from the tight, scooped thrash tones of Metallica’s Master of Puppets to the warm, mid-forward singing leads of Guns N’ Roses (Appetite and Use Your Illusion) with ease. Not to mentioned getting the downtunes Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit tones is in there naturally, with just a tiny little kick in the nuts with the boost in the Crush channel.
For Metallica, the Crush channel with a light low end, SD-1 as a clean boost, and the 5-band EQ in a classic Mark IIC+ V-scoop absolutely nails the tone – tight, articulate, and aggressive without losing note definition. For GNR, switching to Crunch mode, pushing the mids, and letting the power section breathe gives an authentic hot-rodded Marshall feel, perfect for Slash’s riffs and solos.
The built-in CabClone IR with the Mesa's most popular cab sims is killer feature. Mesa Traditional cab and the rectifier 2x12 sim is brutal!
I can record direct or play silently at home without losing the feel or tone. It reacts beautifully to picking dynamics and guitar volume changes, making it feel alive and inspiring.
If you’re willing to spend a little time dialing it in, the Badlander 25 is a versatile, portable, and seriously professional amp. Whether you want to chug like Hetfield or soar like Slash, or get creative with drop tunings this head delivers without compromise.

Pancernie i przepięknie wykonany, polecam

Honest review from previous Marshall user
I rarely do any reviews. But this one deserves recognition. Build quality seems great and it will hopefully last a long time with no issues.
I came from a Marshall silver jubilee studio 20W and still use the same marshall 2x12 silver jubilee cab. This amp blows the marshall silver jubilee away. It sounds better, fuller, quiter when it need to, louder when it need it. No weird annoying oscillation in the topend as I have had with my silver jubilee 20w and jcm 800 20w. Overall a smoother more balanced tone. A simple strum over a normal D chord sounds better and more balanced/natural in any way. Hard to explain, but believe me its good.
This amp sounds better than both of them. Its can get very very close to the marshall sound also. If I dont look at the amp and should guess what amp is playing when on the crunch channel I would definately say a Marshall. The crush channel is perfect for Guns N roses, ACDC, ZZ top alike tones and can be dial in to perfection very easily. The feel is amazing, cruchy but at the same time smooth under the fingers. Feels better and more natural than the Marshalls I have played.
Dont get me wrong, it love marshall amps, but this one is just better and should be, considering the price.
The crush is perfect for heavier like tones. Heavy, tight, smooth lead tones.
The effect loop is perfect. Doesnt lose topend or anything weird to complain about.
The presence controll is super easy to use to dial in your cabinet, to roll off the perfect amount of highend.
The convinience of having 2 channels with footswitching is awesome.
Silent recording sounds better than I have hoped. I would say it respond 80% of how a real cab would. Great for recording and playing silently.
Overall 5 stars, my only worry is how long it will last with a somewhat complicated layout. I also dont know yet how easy it will be to swap out tubes(biasing) and replace parts if it fails one day. But these are only my final thoughts. If this amp keep the same tone and holds up. I cannot see myself get any other tube amp. To me its has become my dream amp.
