After owning its predecessor, the Wavelogic MKII, one of the best multi modulation pedals ever, I have been waiting literally for years, for GFI to release its new iteration. More compact, easier to use, incredibly powerful, it retains the most important aspect of the original: the awesome sound quality. All the power of digital, and yet the warm and organic feel and tone of a collection of old school analog pedals.
I haven't even brushed the surface of what this unit can do, and likely never will, but it's worth it even for a handful of easily dialed presets.
This is one perfect example of gear where you might think "I just play at home, this is overkill", but then you plug it in, and every time you do, you go "holy s**t" this sounds good and it brings a smile to your face, and after all, this is what it's all about, even more of you're an occasional player.
