Superbe machine

Tiny détails can make big difference. Not good, not bad either
Pointless to say all the good points.
There is pléthore videos repeating specs and praising all great things you can do with them.
No synthesizer or machine is perfect, and these machines have a lot of positive points; however, the negative points sometimes seem absurd.
I own five machines, and none of them escape this observation : I love them as much as I hate them.
A feeling of frustration issued from the machine's potential being wasted by its unfinished state.
- All the buttons become sticky after a while. This problem has been known at Elektron for over 10 years, and yet...
- The Analog Rytm doesn't have time stretch, yet it's called an "8-voice Analog Drum Computer & Sampler."
- USB audio transfer, no effects on tracks (i know, the audio routing don't allow it) .
- No sample editing tools when recording into it.
- Sample kit management is tedious.
- Sound quality can feel too much "elektron". Really hard to get away from the elektron sound.
- synthesis Tools can feel sometimes not enough versatil with little amplitude, nuances.
- Last. Purely subjective, although....I Don't like the sound coming out of elektron. Seems muffled with little dynamics, almost lo-fi compare to other compétitors. To fix the problem get the analog heat ...of course
It's Elektron's most expensive machine, but also the one that has evolved the less.
Be aware that there is a lot of hype for this brand and wise marketing planed trough social media it is easy to fall into the elektron ecosystem.
