Parfait si on veut quelque chose de portable et à utiliser en standalone.
Pour connecter à une carte son il faut oublier direct. L'ampli interne de la sortie casque est bien trop limité pour envoyer un volume suffisant. De plus, lorsqu'utilisé connecté à une carte son on se rend compte qu'aucun des samples internes au device n'a été normalisé, ce qui nous donne des drumkit avec des différences de niveau entre certains samples telles qu'ils en deviennent inutilisables.

Perfect on the paper
If you look at the specs, it's the best groovebox on the market at this price range.
But I found the mixed sound and shortcuts taken not inspiring enough. I want a dawless setup, not spend time in Ableton Live afterwards and you get the feeling the device was made to force you to go there ;)
However, if you work with Live, it's a no brainer.
Pros:
- capture (allows you to commit something you tried previously)
- easy to start anything
- great ableton move integration
- USB-A port to plug a keyboard / USB-c to sample
- Sample chopping is OK (the start end and number of slice split is genius).
- cool to have audio tracks
- integrated synths are really cool and configurable
- sequencer is awesome
The cons:
- Super hard to mix the sounds, I come from EP133 / SP404 and whatever you do there, the output is great. Here you have to spend an FX or Two to have something consistant
- No panning on the tracks (!) (you can pan but it requires a tremendous amount of extra work, to sample each track on a drum kit and then define the panning).
- No time warping for the samples
- Build quality is 8/10, it gets a bit hot on your lap, feels less solid than a SP404, I would say just below the EP133
- FX part is not my thing. You get only two slots on the main and you HAVE to use them as dynamic / saturator if you want your sound to mean something (to feel consistent). So in the end, you get 2 FX per track, which is ok, no push FX which is very sad.
- Resample is cool but I only managed to resample an existing track (so not resample WHILE playing)
- No looper or overdub on audio tracks (which is ridiculous when you think about it).

Un instrument portatif et très agréable à utiliser
Je l'ai pris surtout pour son utilisation nomade, avec batterie.
Les mises à jour constantes en font un instrument de plus en plus intéressant. A l'heure à laquelle j'écris cet avis, Ableton vient d'annoncer la version 2.0 en beta test, dans laquelle il sera possible d'ajouter des pistes audio. A suivre, donc!
