very nice mic

I's a very nice mic, every studio should have two or three of these microphone. It is sent in a solid polyuretanic case, with the foam inside. You can feel the professional target also thanks to the illustration of the detailed polar figure.
The microphone shape is very nice and at the touch it results very solid and comfortable, anyway there is something wrong: this microphone is not like a shure sm58, 57 etc, it has his plug system, this mechanism uses a spring.. it's not really solid, and during a session it's easly possible that the mic slips through the fingers. However the microphone is perfect with the toms and for guitar gabinet, it's used with saxopohone, anytime for voice.. it's a standard.

è sempre un ottimo microfono e potrei chiudere qui. le sue specifiche e i campi di utilizzo sono riportati in ogni media, blog, sito, video.. amato da molti ingegneri, ignorato da steve albini, ne ho acquisiti due in un solo ordine quando thomann li ha presentati a metà prezzo al rinnovo delle scorte. le riserve riguardano la fabbricazione perché a me quel braccino di plastica non piace affatto e non fa niente per farsi piacere. ah ah ah ah!!!

It sounds excellent as guitar tracking mic, along with a SM57.
It's great for miking a bass and it's the best for miking toms.
Even great for some vocals.

One of the best all-use mike

i'v used it on guitar as well as on toms and vocals. great on distorted guitars. a little strange clip-holder , you have to be careful handling it when clipped to a mike stand or it could detach, and a little smaller than i expected in size, but a great mike ith great span of dinamic range and freq response.
