the t.mix mix 802

Bought this to use for a few small gigs in small pubs.
The intention was to use it with 2 microphones, bass guitar and keyboard, having two guitars using amps and drums by themselves, having the output sent to the PA system and a set of monitors.
This little mixer did the job perfectly, allowing enough control to adjust settings on the fly. I would've loved some compression on the first channel for the microphone, but it's not going to change the fact that this is a quality mixer on a tight budget.
The construction of the mixer feels very solid and stable, wouldn't be afraid if this fell off the table once or twice during a gig. The knobs feel just a bit loose, but that's just the plastic bit above the pots that aren't a perfect fit - doesn't affect the functionality of this outstanding piece of gear in any possible way.

If you are looking for a mixer to start doing your thing or need it for small tasks (such as small gigs), this will TOTALLY do the job.
I recommend this if you want many inputs and enough outputs, along with the option of having 3-way EQ that works great (active controls).

Using it for my drummer in-ear setup. Also perfect for small bands/bar gigs and similar. Functionally looks like a Behringer Xenyx 802 clone, but this has got more channels! FOH mix goes to me via XLR in channel 1, I add the click via channel 5/6. I can finally not get deaf from using wedges that are too loud, especially when everyone starts to turn up sound because they "cannot hear themselves".
Test it for 1 hour and you will know all of it's functions perfectly.
Only con that I found is that the FX send is post-fader, meaning, if you wanted to send something back to the Front of House (i.e. backing track channel), then it's very important that everything you change in your personal monitor mix will affect the FOH mix as well. I found it out only after buying the item. This information is not mentioned in the manual or product description.
Otherwise it's super easy to operate and understand. I recommend getting a small case where you can put the mixer, it's power block (it has two screw holes in the corners), DI Box, Backing track device and extension cord. Open the case, plug in your extension cord at the venue, plug the XLR from FOH into your mixer, output to stage DI Box, put your in-ears in and you're good to go! Helps save time with setting up/breaking down.
