Every time I pass this stand, it reminds me of a tiny metal sentry, indefatigable and resolute, so much so that I'm compelled to solute its silent vigil as I walk by. I would invite you to take a bow, but that would be insensitive, since your design does not allow it. When all around it has crumbled to rubble, long after the world as we know it is gone, this stand will remain.
