Bought these for a suitcase kit. Has a really nice dark sound without being too sharp which is just what I wanted.
The only downside for me is that it's hard to get a good sizzle out of it versus my usual hi hats but otherwise they're great for a small set up.

Bought this as I was not liking the hi-hat on my electronic kit.
Nice quality item, the overall sound is not as crisp as others.
It fits well with my current set up, I did not want too sharp a sound.
I practise and jam with it and it requires no microphone.
