Zultan's Q Series is a range of medium-weight, hand-hammered Turkish cymbals made of B20 bronze, which are striking because of their unusual appearance. The different surface treatments are not only pleasing to the eye, but also have an effect on the sound. The result is a sound that can be used in many different styles, cuts through well, and at the same time has a dark, warm sonic range. The affordable Q Series is aimed at ambitious beginners and more advanced drummers, and comprises individual hi-hats, crashes, splashes, and rides, as well as pre-configured complete sets.

Opposites attract attention

While the completely lathed and high-gloss polished underside of the Q cymbals is similar to the popular Zultan Rock Beat series, the upper side is absolutely unique. The rim, which is covered with deep hammer indentations, is unlathed, as is the bell – this raw, earthy look creates a strong contrast to the high-gloss centre. The manual craftsmanship of Zultan's experienced Turkish cymbal smiths makes each cymbal really unique. The 10" splash has a powerful, dynamic, full sound with a slightly dark character and medium sustain.

One letter – many uses

The Zultan Q cymbals are in the medium weight category and are ideal for genres such as Pop, Funk, and Blues thanks to their warm and balanced sound and their slightly reduced treble range. Their sound always blends homogeneously into their musical surroundings, leaving plenty of room for the other instruments. With its full-bodied sound and quick response, the 10" splash is predestined for explosive accents that won't create the jarring sharpness that many other splashes of this size do. When played more gently, the cymbal will also cut a fine figure performance in acoustic sessions.

The Q Series does it all

Amazing Cymbal!!!!!

Super Erweiterung zum Zultan Q-Serie Professional Set

Nach Kauf der Zultan Q-Serie für das drumset meines Sohnes fehlte ihm noch ein Splash, als dies dann bei Thomann angeboten wurde habe ich sofort das 10" bestellt, mit der Hoffnung dass auch ich es für kleinere Gigs mit Cajon einsetzen kann und höre da, super Klang.
Was die Bewertung angeht: Super Qualität, schöner Klang, nicht zu aggressiv, sehr schönes Design, super Preis.
Bei Becken gehen die Geschmäcker sicherlich auseinander aber meiner Meinung nach ist dieses vielseitig einsetzbar.

A pesar de no llevar la marca láser de Turkish que llevan los demás que tengo de la serie Q es un pedazo splash como pocos que he probado, uso un Zildjian de 4", un meinl de 6" y con éste he conseguido un set de splash genial, fino como papel pero duro y con tres zonas de sonido cláramente definidas: la campana es espectacular, sin tornear ni pulir, la zona intermedia, pulisa y trabajada da un bing brillante con mucha sustain y los 2 cms del borde, martilleados y sin desvastar le dan un sonido mucho más duro y con gran explosividad. Actualmente lo uso con un meinl de 10" a modo de hihat secundario y junto al primario con unos Anatolian diamond me proporciona un set en que disfruto creando patrones porque combina con cualquier cosa. Los Zultan están consolidándose como una gran marca. Uso unos dark de crash y ride y no tienen nada que envidiar a las grandes marcas por precios mucho más realistas y asequibles. Una de mis mejores inversiones en gadgets para la acústica.
