The term "very good" is reserved for excellence, so I will not overate (which makes this rating realistic imho).

This is a marvelous piece of kit for the new enthusiast. It will take their play a great deal further as the sound is so good for the money and will provide easy switching between various rock style sounds for exploration when teamed up with the Spider.

For sub-£300 this is a top guitar. Really good sound for the early learner and can be played seriously too.It has that kind of capability.
