Will NOT fit Crosstown stand without great effort
Fam Nurb 17.01.2024
This tilting stand extender is very well put together. I know this because I had to take it apart.

The CS3 joint is considerably smaller than this arm's joints. However, the rods are the same diameter, so you may swap one of the joints on this arm with the CS3 tilter joint:

You can take a pin punch and remove the joints by carefully clamping the rods (remember, the crosstown rod is a soft metal, so not too tight!) and using a lever to pry—really forcefully—the joints off of the rods. (You only need to remove one joint from this arm, but it needs to be the correct one! The other is too wide to swap.) Don't twist, there are ribs to prevent turning and you'll damage the metal! With the joints removed, you may compare the hole locations and see how you can cut away the narrower, shorter tip from one side of this product's rod so the hole will be the same distance from the end as the hole on the Crosstown rod tip. Use a metal hacksaw and maybe a file or rough sandpaper. You would put this newly cut end inside of the Crosstown joint (it's an incredibly tight fit, so either sand or use a heavy hammer or strong clamp/press) and reinstall the pin. Then put the joint you replaced onto the Crosstown rod and reinstall the pin.

With that, you have one of the world's only Crosstown tilting cymbal stands!

This is a great extension to create better access to overhead cymbals. I have just bought another 2.
