They fit in perfectly into big hands while maintaining the feel of the smaller stick heads. This are the sticks you want if you don't want to use heavy ones, but still need some good punch.

J'utilise ces baguettes depuis au moins une dizaine d'années, après avoir joué longtemps avec des Manu Katché. Ces baguettes sont 'appairées' c'est à dire qu'elles sont sélectionnées pour aller ensemble. Mais d'une paire à l'autre ce peut être le jour et la nuit au niveau du poids, de la densité et du son. J'en ai eu de très légères donc fragiles et d'autres très lourdes, qu'il ne faut jouer que bien 'chaud'. Attention aux cymbales aussi... Je ne me sers pas de la grosse olive (c'est assez puissant comme ça) mais Carmine lui s'en sert. Avant d'adopter ces modèles, j'avais essayé les Ian Paice sans olives. Dur dur pour rouler...

Ich habe mir die Sticks eigentlich nur wegen des Backtips gekauft.
Hab sie aber kaum gespielt, da ich kurz darauf noch dickere Sticks haben wollte. Wem allerdings ein 5A zu dünn und zu leicht ist und ein 5B zu dick, ist mit diesem Stick gut bedient. Er ist zwar so dick wie ein 5B hat aber durch die große Verjüngung und dem kleinem Tip ein geringeres Gewicht und ist nicht so kopflastig.
Was mir nicht so gut geviel war, das der Sticks lackiert ist und dadurch nicht so gut den Schweis aufnimmt, ist allerdings Geschmackssache und für Leute die wenig beim spielen schwitzen auch nicht so schlimm.

Je m'en sers dans les deux sens, si je veux une frappe plus ou moins lourde. ça évite de changer de baguettes si vous jouez des morceaux progressifs.
