Nachdem ich alle drei deutschen Vandoren-Modelle getestet habe, ist mein Fazit, dass mir das D20 am wenigsten liegt. Ich finde den Klang deutlich weniger rund als bei den beiden anderen Modellen (D15 und D25), teilweise fast schon scharf. Und dynamisch geht auch deutlich weniger, sowohl Richtung fff als auch Richtung ppp. Gerade beim Leiserwerden bleibt der Ton einfach irgendwann weg. Ich bin mir aber bewusst, dass das sehr subjektiv ist, andere Spieler werden vermutlich einen anderen Eindruck haben. Positiv fällt auch hier wieder die blitzsaubere Intonation auf. Das hat Vandoren mit der (nicht mehr ganz) neuen Serie wirklich super hinbekommen. Insofern: Einen Versuch ist es sicherlich trotzdem wert, wenn man auf der Suche ist.
