Die Free TDR Plugins gehören sicher mit zum Besten was an freien Plugins verfügbar ist. Aber diie Gentlemans Edition erhöht den Spaß nochmals deutlich. In der Bezahlvariante des Plugins bekommt man:
Tilt Filter, zusätzliche EQ Modelle, verschiedene Ausgangsstufen (für unterschiedliche Sättigung), gut funktionierendes Auto Gain, einen Analyzer und die "Smart" Funktionen. Dabei verwende ich die Match EQ Funktion nicht, aber die Deresonate Funktion zum Aufspüren von Resonanzen nutze ich gerne.
Summasumarum hat sich für mich der Upgrade gelohnt. Ich benutze das Plugin häufig und gerne.

TDR liefert eine hervorragende Automatic Gain Control. Insbesondere für starke Änderungen via EQ hilft die AGC unglaublich. Die Bedienung aller Regler läuft tadellos und das visuelle Feedback stimmt auch. Alle EQ Kurven sind musikalisch und auf viel unterschiedliches Audiomaterial anwendbar. Eine volle Kontrolle über das Q-ing wäre zwar wünschenswert gewesen, aber die unterschiedlichen "EQ-Styles" (letztendlich steckt hier das Q-ing) bieten fast immer genug Flexibilität. Die separat zuschaltbare Saturierung ist vielseitig, wenn auch sehr dezent und auch hier funktioniert die AGC tadellos.

Ich mische seit 10 Jahren und ärgere mich nur nicht schon früher gekauft zu haben.
