A great mute for jazz and big band playing. Fully adjustable so good into microphone or when accompanying singers. Beautifully made with copper base at a great price.The best cup mute I have ever bought thank you Thomann!!

Looked for a mute to sound like Charlie Shavers with the Ray Bryant quartet
When cup is fairly close to the bell, this is the soft sound. Looks beautiful as well

Der Dämpfer wirkt elegant und schön, die Zweifarbigkeit ist sehr ansprechend sowohl an meiner silbernen Sinus Line von Jestädt als auch an meinem dreifarbig eloxierten Cornett von Yamaha aus den 70er Jahren. Die Verarbeitung ist in jeder Hinsicht sorgfältig und wirkt sehr solide. Der Klang mit Cup ist angenehm weich und wirkt nicht "gestopft" und auch nicht quäkend, eher weich wirkt er auch als Straight. Wer hier einen grell-krass-metallischen Klang sucht, kommt nicht auf seine Kosten. Das Spielgefühl ist insgesamt leicht. So weit meine Einschätzung als Amateur, eher im Bereich von Jazz und Bigband angesiedelt.
