Die Kalimba ist ein sehr schönes, kleines Instrument. Sie eignet sich sehr gut für kleinere Melodien unter 6 Noten, hat einen schönen Klang und ist leicht zu spielen.

Die Kalimba ist klein und ein Leichtgewicht, daher passt sie auch in die Hosentasche und ist ein cooles Instrument zum mit die Ferien nehmen. Sie hat fünf Töne: B, C, F und die oberen Oktaven von C und F. Das tiefe F hat mehrere Mikrotöne, die sich hören wenn man es naeher am Ohr spielt.
