Far Better Than Expected

Got this as a put me on untill I could afford a decent one, however this bass is really nice to play and sounds far better than expected for a plywood bass. The Vintage Gut-a-Likes sound nice and deep with the right amount of ping. The string hight is very comfortable and provides enough volume and a decent tension (even on the E string which isn't floppy at all) for accoustic playing. There are a few minor cosmetic flaws on the neck but that in no way detracts from this good looking and decent sounding bass. Excellent.

Ich wollte einen günstigen Bass, um den es mir nicht leid tut wenn er auf Reisen eine Macke bekommt, deshalb habe ich keine großen Ansprüche. Die Mechanismen funktionieren gut, die Saiten sind gut, habe aber sofort Weed whacker drauf gemacht. Deshalb kann zum Sound nicht viel sagen, durch einen preamp knallt und slapt es prima. Am weissen Streifen sieht man schon , dass da nicht viel Herzblut rein geflossen ist, aber egal. Zum umherzerren auf Bühnen Klasse und für Einsteiger bestimmt auch. Der Bogen macht Töne, aber nicht mehr mit den neuen Saiten 😀.
Die Tasche taugt nur als Staubschutz, zum Reisen ungeeignet
