Great set of mics for starting out
This was the first set of drum mics I ever used and i found them a great set to start out with. They get the job done and done very well. I have used them for concerts and for recording and they've worked very well. They are amazing microphones for the price they are sold at. I would definitely recommend as an introductory set of microphones for drums. I havn't had many problems with these mics, the only thing that i can complain about is that sometimes the cymbals come out as a bit tinny in sound. I do not think they are the best mics for studio recordings though.

Fantastic deal for this price
I've been hesitating to buy it, though I liked the sample provided. I am 1000% satisfied with the purchase, really good characteristics, good sound, the tom mics are excellent for toms and snares as well with that warm but real dynamic "type" of sound , and the overhead mics have great sounds, true brightness for the purpose. Low distortion, low noise, great dynamics and sound. I could achieve a professional drum sound with this very good package. It would be great to have a little bit bigger package with two or more mics in a bigger set where I could use for 5 toms plus room.

t.bone DC 4000 review
I've had these mics for a number of years now. And they are fantastic. The case is easy to handle and carry, the mics a durable and sounds fine. I don't have the best recording equipment in the world and I don't think you would get a professional level sound from them, but for live drumming demos they're perfect. We record all our songs as demos to hear back, fix mistakes and practice to. In that sense, these mics are bang on. The only thing I will say is, the cymbal mics won't fit in to a normal mic stand, so - like me - you may need to use some duct tape. All in all a very good product.

Great value!
Have made two album recordings with these mics so far, and they produce a sound quality that is incredible for the low price. I think you need to at least triple the price to produce a better sound. Very satisfied!
