Excellent Drum

I bought this drum as a gift and my friend was delighted with it. It is very well made and has a lovely tone to it. Great value for money.

Skin too tight, its muscle

I opted for this drum after reading the excellent comments about it and found myself very disappointed: the sound is nothing serious, it sounds exactly as on the sound example of the site in a very metallic. The first term that came to describe it was "rattle" ... It seems that the skin is too tense since in humid climate things improve a little.

It is suitable for group use but not for individual practice (tested during an internship and gathering opinions from different participants). Its lightness is still appreciable, and the mallet is good.
