Unlike many conventional undersaddle pickups, the Element's ultra-thin sensor not only detects string pressure but also captures the movement of the soundboard, resulting in a detailed, warm, and balanced tone without any harsh treble frequencies. The integrated VTC system (Volume, Tone, Compression) is based on a studio-tested concept featuring a subtle low-end compressor that preserves the natural dynamics of the performance. The device's volume and tone controls are actually tucked discreetly inside the top edge of the guitar's soundhole, preserving the instrument's traditional appearance. The system is powered by a 9-volt battery, and the guitar strap's endpin also serves as the output jack.
