I got one of these with my first Iron Cobra pedal 20 years ago, that key was lost long ago, but I have always had one in my stick bag since. Having the hex rod (actually intended for adjusting your pedal) makes for super fast head changes, and is a suitable mallet for tuning. Essential kit.

The best drum key around

From all the drum keys I used this one's the best. Its design really helps when you have to tighten a lug very tight, like tom holders on vintage kits. Downside: they break. I tore the edge of the lug driver after a few years of use. Uninevitable maybe, but I wish the material could have been just a bit stronger.
