About Soundboks

Soundboks is the brainchild of three Danish friends who wanted to make an impact at the Roskilde Festival – with extra-loud music and breath-taking parties. With the loudspeaker they created for this event, they then founded the Soundoks brand. The prototype capably withstood everything thrown at it during the wildest parties. At first, the trio did not place much emphasis on durability or performance, but their original idea began to gain momentum when they developed their own battery. After selling the first 400 units, they managed to raise over 500,000 US dollars through a Kickstarter campaign, which they invested in the further development of the speaker. Soundboks has today sold more than 50,000 units in 40 different countries.
