Für mich das beste Hard Case für Drums schlechthin

Mit einem 20“ Case für eine Gong Drum bin ich zu SKB gekommen, nun sind auch all meine anderen Cases aus dieser Serie.
Der Umstieg von Taschen bedeutet zwar eine ziemlich horrende Investition, für mein neues Schlagzeug ist es mir das aber gleich zweifach wert: erstens der bessere Schutz, zweitens der längere Werterhalt durch Vermeidung von Kratzern und kleineren Macken.
Die Cases sind robust wie ein Panzer und durch die sehr gut ausgeführte Polsterung im Inneren mache ich mir auch bei umfallenden Cases oder „sorglosen Umgang beim Transport“ keine Sorgen um Beschädigungen der Trommeln.
Für jeden tourenden Drummer, der sein Instrument nicht selbst transportiert, sind diese Cases eine sehr lohnende und sinnvolle Investition, die ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann. Die gebotene Qualität ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben, kleine Details wie die rundum ausgeführte Polsterung und die (mehr oder weniger) rutschhemmende Stapelbarkeit rechtfertigen für mich den zweifelsohne hohen Preis.
Dafür erhält man ein stabiles Case für sicherlich viele Jahre auf Achse.

Ich halte mich ja normalerweise mit der Bewertung "Das Beste" sehr zurück, aber im Fall der SKB Cases ist es durchaus angebracht. Features, Verarbeitung, Passform - alles Top! Das hat natürlich seinen Preis, aber was nützt einem die Ersparnis eines günstigen Koffers, wenn das Instrument Schaden nimmt?
Das Schöne an dem kürzlich erworbenen, oben genannten Stand Tom Case ist, daß dort auch ein 15" x 12" Floor Tom bequem reinpasst.

Passt perfekt

Es hatte etwas gedauert, bis das Case dann wieder verfügbar war, aber die Warterei hat sich gelohnt. Meine Standtom 14×12" passt perfekt rein. Da ich alle Cases mittlerweile von SKB habe, lassen sie sich sehr gut übereinander stapeln und verrutschen nicht gleich so schnell beim Transport. Klare Kaufempfehlung, auch wenn die Cases etwas teurer sind als andere Marken.
