I tested a lot of microphones to shoot on a documentary with a GH4 and it is by far the best microphone to enter mini-jack without power phantom I know.

The protection against the wind is very effective, even in high wind (if you add the hair sold separately). The internal suspensions on each micro-gun eliminate any noise of vibration or manipulation. The quality of the voices indoors and outdoors is surprisingly good, with a balanced spectrum and color. The microphone finds its limits in a traffic environment too dense but it is quite normal and it is rather better than anything I know.
Yet it is an original and surprising design: 2 small microphones guns arranged in V ... I did not believe much ... and yet, it works as well on voice giving a very good presence even 2 or 3m away, only in stereo on moods or music (I recorded a bossa concert with and the sound is really good for the little implementation).
Small flat: the voice of the cameraman seems out of the grave, hyper accentuated in the bass. But it's a lesser evil.

In short, the price may seem excessive but this microphone is really worth it!

I am a sound engineer on documentaries for 20 years: there are no secrets, for a good sound is nothing like a microphone type Neumann, Schoeps or Sennheiser well perched. But when you have to shoot alone with a DSLR without XLR input, this microphone is a very good solution, without comparison with the Rhode who are so fashionable and so poor value for money.
