Shure-like sound but more versatile

Yes it is kinda shure style sound I guess. neutral and sounds great. But what I like most is this mic can be shape as different type of characteristic, really helpful feature.

I use it at the hole of bass drum alongside with shure beta 91a and won't ask any better than this in wise price range.

Great mic at a great price

Great mic with a tight sound. Very little bleed over when recording a live performance. The two vintage or modern switch choice on the rear is a nice feature.
I ended up buying three of the V Beat series mics to go with the V Kick for the rest of the kit and I am pleased with the results I've been getting.

My favorite dedicated kick mic. Has everything you need to make the kick sound great; top end is defined, mids are controlled, low end feels satisfying. Super balanced and powerful sound, and easy to tame if you want to.
