B
The one true crash / ride !
Ben309 15.06.2016
An innovative product from Sabian, the Omni truly is a crash / ride cymbal. The HHX is a darker model, meaning that the ride sound is more complex and earthy, while the crash sound is open and bright while still being harmonically relevant to the overall dark sound of the cymbal.
A versatile cymbal that combines two cymbals into one !

Extremely Versatile Ride

Really happy with this ride, I love big washy crashes, but frankly going about 19", and you start using a lot of space, and paying quite a lot...

So getting a crash-able ride like this that can do that "white noise" style washy crash sound, and function perfectly well as a ride is great.

I guess the only thing you need to take into account here is that if you love shorter ride sounds where you tighten down the nut, then of course you're going to choke the hell out of the crash sound, so it's a trade-off if that's what you're after

Interessantes Becken! Und doch dagegen entschieden.
Jonas Hendrix 01.05.2020
